Computer Training

Recognizing today's job market demands for computer literacy skills, SMD offers adults with disabilities training in basic computer awareness and competence in specific computer applications.

A General Computer Training Program first assesses an individual’s learning style and the need for adaptive equipment. The results of that assessment are then used to develop tailored general computer training and instruction in the applications most commonly used in the workplace.

Work experience placements follow, with specific computer training based on an individual's needs in relation to the requirements of the job.
