SMD Self-Help Clearinghouse means different things to different people.

To the people who depend on self-help groups for support, SMD Self-Help Clearinghouse is a one-stop source for valuable information and services, as well as for advocacy on common issues.

To the participating self-help groups, SMD Self-Help Clearinghouse is a model of support, offering shared office space and administrative assistance that enables many groups to exist in the highly competitive self-help marketplace.

For funders, SMD Self-Help Clearinghouse represents an opportunity to contribute to a strong collective voice that in turn leads to a greater capacity for inclusion of all abilities in the community.
