Media Centre

The Media Centre is the place to see some of SMD’s public awareness activities and campaigns.

Awareness and information are cornerstones when it comes to building a greater understanding of disabilities – and of SMD as well. Understanding opens people’s eyes, letting them see how actions, behaviours and perceptions can create barriers that exclude, isolate and place limits on others. Understanding also involves showing people how they can help remove those barriers and be part of building a truly inclusive community.
