Who We Help

Adults & Children Living with Disabilities in Manitoba

This year, net proceeds from the lottery will be directed towards a special funding initiative called the Assistive Technology Support Program. The program helps children, youths and adults with disabilities gain access to products that can vastly improve their everyday lives. It’s the simple things we take for granted like driving a car or accessing a church to witness a loved one getting married. For someone with a disability, an assistive device can range from modified steering components to a wheelchair lift. With your help, we can eliminate barriers and enable people to live their lives to the fullest.

The Society for Manitobans with Disabilities main office resides in Winnipeg, but there are also six rural office locations that provide services to assist individuals with disabilities throughout the province.
