Rules & Draws

The SMD Foundation/Easter Seals Manitoba, 825 Sherbrook St., Wpg. MB., R3A 1M5 is conducting The Great Escape Lottery MGCC 3031RF. The following is a summary of the rules:

  • Please allow 2 weeks for tickets in the mail.
  • All draws take place at SMD Foundation, 825 Sherbrook Street, Wpg. MB at 3:00 PM on the scheduled day and are open to all ticket holders and the general public. 
  • Prizes will be drawn by hand at random from all tickets sold prior to each draw.
  • All winning tickets shall be recorded and re-entered for all subsequent drawings.
  • Prizes shall be awarded as described.  No cash value equivalence.
  • Prizes are awarded FOB Winnipeg and include all applicable taxes.  Shipping charges are extra and remain the sole responsibility of the winner.
  • Tickets will only be sold to those 18 years of age and older.
  • A total of 16,000 tickets will be available for sale.  
  • “Chances to Win” is defined for this lottery as the number of tickets held by a person multiplied by the number of draws in which the ticket is eligible to participate.
  • If a cheque or credit card payment is refused for whatever reason, any ticket(s) associated with that payment would not be eligible to win a draw.  When full payment, plus any bank charges, is received, the ticket(s) will be re-entered for future draws.
  • Post-dated cheques will not be accepted as payment.
  • The ticket order and payment deadlines are as follows:
  • For the draw on February 6, 2009
  • To be eligible, telephone or fax orders must be received by 11:00 pm February 5, 2009.
  •  Mail and in person orders accepted up to 12:00 noon February 5, 2009.
  • For the draws on February 13, 2009
  • To be eligible, telephone or fax orders must be received by 11:00 pm February 12, 2009
  • Mail and in person orders accepted up to 12:00 noon February 12, 2009.
  • The liability of the licensee of this raffle is limited to the price of the ticket(s).
  • The licensee, its agents, volunteers or officers are not responsible for:
  • Failure of Canada Post or other delivery or courier services to deliver orders or tickets.
  • Failure of a fax machine or other device to accept an order.
  • Failure of a credit card authorization to be completed.
