Manager, Gift Planning - Full Time - Competition # 60-09

The Manager, Gift Planning is responsible for the creation and management of the Major Gifts, Planned Giving, and Direct Mail Programs.  The position will develop a strategic plan for marketing the programs as well as developing policies and procedures and establishing a committee to support the programs. Cultivate and solicit gifts and steward relationships with donors which includes thanking and recognizing them for their contribution, ensuring that the gift is used well in the way that the donor wished, and reporting to the donor on what has been accomplished with their gift.  Manage the production, data analysis/processing and the list coordination; and ensuring that all database/data analysis requirements are met.  Contributes to the planning and implementation of Foundation activities to maximize private sector support; formulate and implement strategies for raising major gifts, research, identify, cultivate and evaluate specific prospective donors, foundations and corporations.  This Position will also work with Board Members and other volunteers to initiate the most appropriate solicitation based on the need of both the SMD Foundation and the donor.

 

The Manager, Gift Planning is a member of the SMDF senior management group, and works closely with the COO, SMDF and other staff members to plan for and carry out strategic directions for the office.

Supervisor, Ethno Cultural Program - Full Time - Competition # 58-09

Supervisor, Ethno Cultural Program reports directly to the Director, Community Inclusion and Support Services.  This individual is responsible for the overall management of the Ethno Cultural Program, a program providing services to individuals with disabilities of ethnic origin as they navigate through the social service system.  The program provides services to both children with disabilities and their families and adults with disabilities.
