Donor Recognition

To acknowledge the appreciation of everyone at SMD Foundation/Easter Seals™ Manitoba, the Donor Recognition Program has been created. The program exists to acknowledge a gift, to thank donors, and to properly recognize their contributions as people and organizations that are caring and committed to building a community that considers the needs of people living with disabilities.

The Donor Recognition Program acknowledges contributions according to seven primary categories; Partner ($1,000 to $9,999); Leader ($10,000 to $24,999.); Builder ($25,000 to $49,999); Benefactor ($50,000 to $99,999.); Patron ($100,000 to $499,999); and Founder ($500,000 Plus). The categories represent a combination of one-time gifts and cumulative amounts over the course of several years.

Those who don’t fit into these specific categories are still acknowledged as part of the SMD Family. There are also those who simply prefer to give anonymously and their preference is equally respected.

The hope is that by recognizing the giving spirit of Manitobans who contribute to SMD Foundation/Easter Seals™ Manitoba, others will follow the example they set. Donor recognition is also a way to say thank-you on behalf of the people whose lives you touch but may never meet in person.
