Annual Giving

The Annual Giving Program is often a donor's first opportunity to make a gift in support of the The Society for Manitobans with Disabilities Foundation Inc. and Easter Seals™ Manitoba.

The majority of funds raised through the Annual Giving Program come from a generous and committed extended community in response to our direct mail communication each year. Personalized letters are sent to our donors throughout the year and a newsletter keeping our donors informed of on-going initiatives is distributed via The Winnipeg Free Press four times a year.

Each contribution is equally important and is fully and appropriately recognized. The Foundation relies on the support of individuals, corporations, employees and organizations annually through this program in order to continue funding a wide range of outstanding initiatives for people living with disabilities.

Have you ever felt like making a larger gift but thought you could never afford it? Now you can by donating to SMD Foundation/Easter Seals™ Manitoba through the Monthly Giving Program.

What is Monthly Giving?
It is an easy, convenient and cost effective way for you to make a difference for people living with disabilities.

How does it work?

Monthly Giving is flexible because you can increase, decrease or stop your monthly gift at any time.
Rather than make one or two donations each year, you can donate monthly using direct debit from your bank account, or your Visa or MasterCard. It’s that easy!

If you give $250 a year, that is only slightly more than $20 a month.

We try to provide people with as many options as possible because we appreciate their decision to donate - and hope that by making it easier, others will choose to donate as well.
