Ability in Action

It's one thing to talk about theservices provided through SMD (with funding from Easter Seals Manitoba), but another thing to show how the real-life impact those services have made in peoples' lives.

In 2006, SMD partnered with CKY Television in Winnipeg to create the "Ability in Action" features. Each CKY-created segment focused on different people or families and their personal experiences with SMD, raising awareness of disability issues and promoting a greater understanding of the services SMD provides to Manitobans.
